Last week at the movie theater we had a preview for star trek. It didn't get too busy, but a lot of people came. There was a lot of people that dressed up in star trek uniforms. Other than that this week wasn't that interesting. this week I have to work the preview on Thursday for "Angels and Demons." I think I want to see that movie, its from the makers of "The Da Vinci Code" and I liked that movie a lot.

Topic one: Task 1 & 2

The learning skills that I need most work on is Motivating myself to be at school and actually do the school work, becuase I have a hard time getting myself to want to go to school. Another I need to work on is being on time after I work on getting myself to school. I have to work on being on time to get counted present and to be able to learn more.

One that I can think of to add is "keeping the drama at home!" If everyone is foused on school drama they will never be focused on schoolwork. Another good habit I think I and everyone should use is "having a healthy lifestyle." If you get sick easily you can prent it as much as possible by making yourself as healthy as you can, if your healthy you can go to school.

Topic nine: Task Three

his week at my service learning placement(Carmike), I worked on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. On Friday i worked from 6 until 11:30 in Cafe. Cafe is the middle concession area, I don't really like to work cafe that much because your customers yell at you about the prices, even though there's nothing you can do about it.

Saturday I worked from 6 until 8:30 on Door. Door is when you clean theaters and the lobby, and its a job that everyone there wants because it means you get to go home early and you don't have to deal with customers. Usually on door you get off right after the last movie which is around 10 or 10:30 but Saturday I got off at 8:30 Because it was slow and they didn't need as many people, The same with Sunday.

On days like that where I only have to work a couple hours it just makes my day better because I don't have to work all day long, so I had a great attitude last weekend.

Topic Nine: Task Two

At my job placement, Carmike, my attitude depends on a lot of different things. If i am having a good day and i come into Carmike and someone there has a negative attitude, then it will sometimes rub off on me. I don't always show if i have a bad attitude, but when I do have a negative attitude I might talk to a co-worker or a friend to work things out or calm my self down.

Topic 11: Task 3

This week at work, I worked ticket Friday night and door Saturday night. This week Fast and the Furious came out and every showing was sold out, it was really busy! Next week Hannah Montana comes out and we have a Hannah Montana look a like contest. Next week its going to be crazy!

Topic 11: Task 1

For the cell phone etiquette quiz my results were "You could be worse You know proper cell phone etiquette, but you don't always practice it. With just a little more effort, you can avoid the evil stares of strangers and save yourself the embarrassment of revealing private details on a quiet bus. Remember to use the environmental settings on your phone, excuse yourself from a conversation if it is necessary to make or take a phone call, and brush up on your cell phone etiquette here. And really, talking on your cell phone in the bathroom? That's just plain gross."

Week 3 Weekly blog post

At my work place sometimes I get angry with how situations are treated, sometimes they are unfair, but no matter how they are I always have a smile on my face about it. This week I was able to work door when i usually work concession. Working door was really great because it gave me a break from what I usually do at work and made work more fun.
